Dien Chan reflex diagrams: original method of facial reflexology
International School of Multireflexology - Dien Chan
It all begins with a map. By meticulously mapping 257 fixed points on the face, Prof. Bùi Quôc Châu laid the foundations of an unprecedented discipline as early as 1984. From this map, he brings forth a series of reflex diagrams that will establish the bases of all facial reflexologies.
Medical history already includes numerous therapies based on the principle of bodily projection. At first glance, Dien Chan might seem to fit into this lineage. But it fundamentally distinguishes itself from it. Whereas classical reflexologies project the body onto a flat surface according to a single dimension, Dien Chan is multidirectional. The face then becomes a living territory, traversed by multiple simultaneous readings of the human body.
These reflex diagrams are used by stimulating the reflex zones they describe, thanks to precise multireflex tools, without ever damaging the epidermis. Depending on the situation, their yin or yang effects make it possible to restore a dynamic balance to the area of the body concerned.
In a complete treatment plan in authentic Dien Chan, reflex diagrams constitute the third step; and not the least important one. Dien Chan does not boil down to the application of bqc·point formulas with the detector. Mastering the reflex diagrams is to achieve the lasting results that the method makes possible.
And that is where practice takes on its full power. In-depth study of the diagrams illuminates and anchors the memorisation of the main points on the map. Each nourishes the other.
